AC104 - 23K
Shell Gold Button
$21.00
A solid .30 gram droplet (size of an aspirin) of 23K Italian gold is housed in the center of a miniature plastic watercolor well. Add a drop or two of distilled water in the paint dish, and the gold becomes pliable enough to use as paint. A single button is enough gold for up to 15 alphabet prints, depending on the consistency you achieve. “The Complete Gilded Alphabet” uses shell gold in place of metallic paint for accents throughout the pattern.
TIP: If you need to save pennies, we
recommend substituting the shell gold with JansenArt TRADITIONS Pure Gold
metallic acrylic paint. It closely resembles the texture and color of shell
gold, but please know that there is nothing that matches the luster of the real
thing.
