Ordering & Shipping

Ordering
All prices listed on this web site are retail prices. We do not accept CODs
and all orders must be prepaid. Ordering can be accomplished one of several
ways. Option A: Print a copy of the
Product Order Form. Fill out the order form
and mail with your check or money order, drawn on USA funds, and made
payable to: SKS Designs for the amount due. This option is available to
anyone with access to USA banking facilities, including those folks using
APO or FPO addresses. We are unable to accept credit card orders when this
method of purchasing is used. Please do not send cash through the mail.
Option B: Utilize the PayPal's online service for payments. This
allows you to charge your order using one of the following credit cards:
Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
Shipping & Handling
Patterns are generally shipped within 24 hours of ordering, but may be
delayed if extra time is needed for reprinting and packaging. We use US priority mail service. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Shipping is calculated using a flat fee based on the subtotal of your order.
The rates are as follows:
$ .01 - 50.00.............$ 5.00 shipping charge
$ 50.01 - 100.00........$ 7.70 shipping charge
$100.01 - 150.00.……..$ 10.00 shipping charge
$150.01 - 200.00.......$ 12.00 shipping charge
$200.01 and up..........$ 12.50 shipping charge
In addition to the above shipping rates, customers outside of the U.S. and Canada will be charged an $8.00 flat International Handling Fee regardless of order total. International sales will be considered "pending", with shipment delayed, until handling fee is received. All APOs and FPOs are included in the normal continental USA shipping rates.
Customers Outside of the United States (Wholesale and Retail)
All customers outside of the United States must pre-pay all orders using
either the PayPal online service or a Money Order drawn on USA funds. The
Pay Pal system allows automatic conversion to US Dollars from such
currencies as Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling and the Yen, and
affords the convenience of payment with a credit card. For those not feeling
comfortable with on-line ordering, Money Orders drawn up with a conversion
to US Dollars and made payable in US dollars may be mailed to us by your
local postal systems.
Priority shipping to
customers outside of the United States is made only when the amount of
shipping applied covers actual costs. Otherwise, shipping methods will be
determined by the funds collected. All efforts will be made to ship by
“Priority Mail” as the best possible shipping method, if funds allow, or
“Air Mail” at the least.
Sales Tax
A sales tax of 5% is required on all purchases made, or mailed, to an
address in the state of Virginia.
Refunds
Refunds are not available except on damaged merchandise, for which a
replacement will be provided. Notification of damage, by phone, must be made
within 48 hours of receipt of order, so PLEASE check the order as soon as it
arrives.
Price Changes
All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices in effect at the
time an order is placed and paid in full will be honored.
Wholesale Customers
Prices listed on this web site are retail prices. Discount rates of 40% are
available for qualified buyers. In order to qualify for discount buying and
exclusion from taxes on orders, a wholesale customer, regardless of state of
residence, must have a tax exemption number, and have completed and filed an
application of the Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption Application
for wholesale purchasing with SKS DESIGNS.
The application will require the following information:
Applications may be sent to
dealer by mail service, fax or attached to an email. The completed
application and documentation may be returned in the same manner. A minimum
order of at least 3 of a kind with a total of 12 packets or books is
required on all wholesale orders. |
